How does payment work for post a request?
After you accept an offer that a freelancer made on your project request you will then be taken to a payment screen where you can complete your payment. The payment will be released to the freelancer after the job has been completed.
How do I know which service will be best for my project?
We have added articles on each maker category to help you choose which one will work best for your project. If you are still unsure after reading the articles you can reach out to us, and we will help point you in the right direction.
Do I need to use a CAD service to get my project done?
Depending on the project you may need to include a CAD service to get the proper design file you need. Many freelancers offer CAD design on top of the creation of the project.
What happens if I am not satisfied with the work that my freelancer did?
If you met the freelancer and conducted payment outside of the Makerpool platform then Makerpool will not get involved in the dispute. If you used the post a request service and paid through Makerpool then our customer service team will investigate the issue and decide a solution.
How do I find a freelancer in my area?
Click on the find a freelancer button on the home page. Once you are on the list of freelancers, choose the category you are looking for and then type in your location at the top of the page. A list of freelancers in your area will then pop up.
What if there are no freelancers in my area?
If there are no freelancers in your area you can search through the list of freelancers that are in the specific category, you are looking for and reach out to them to get your project done through shipping. All freelancers are currently located in the USA.
